MGB GT V8,1973, chassis no.220, 1 owner from new, VFH 6M

Owned from new by Ivor Smith [author of memoirs of a cotswolds vet], until it was taken off the road in 1988.The MG Car
club V8 register did not know that it still existed and is a very rare early example. Original Damask red.
A classic car specialist has been restoring it over the past 5 years.It was stripped to the bare shell , cleaned and painted in
body colour underneath. Detailed new suspension, brakes and stainless exhaust. Fully detailed engine bay to show standard.
Mainly new interior, but with original seats. Full repaint to a good, but not concours standard.
featured in the v8 register bulletin October 2026. Drives very well.
